Described as Princess Bride meets Disney, this family friendly show encompasses the relatable humor and challenges of every day life along with a heartfelt message of hope, acceptance, and love for the outcasts.

Our Mission

Our goal is to keep ticket prices low to ensure that families can enjoy this Christmas musical. We want to make the arts more accessible to our community and bring the story of the Nativity to all generations in a meaningful, relatable way. Donations will play a significant role in achieving this goal by providing the necessary financial support.

Brady Greer Huffman

DIRECTOR

Brady Greer Huffman is an actor/director/designer/storyteller in the Inland Empire in Southern California. He has received honors working as an actor in Chicago and the Inland Empire. Some of his favorite roles include Father Flynn (Doubt), Uncle Louie (Lost in Yonkers), Laertes (Hamlet), and C.S. Lewis (Freud's Last Session). He is sponsored by the Humanities Program at Loma Linda University to direct two shows a year. He is the former Tech Director for La Sierra University's Theatre Program. As a writer, he has adapted The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and The Jungle Book into full length dramas and has had his original drama, Parcel, staged at his alma mater, Northwestern College, IA. He holds an MFA from UCR in Screenwriting and Playwriting.

Summer Medina

MUSIC DIRECTOR / COMPOSER

Summer Medina is a film producer/cinematographer/director at LLUC Media. Music has always been a big part of her life, and combined with her passion for storytelling, she is to see this musical come to life. While completing her studies at La Sierra University in Film & TV Production, she has produced multiple award winning short films and now produces music videos, live services, documentaries and more with the Loma Linda University Church Media Department. She has worked alongside Scotty Ray over the past 2 years on Light of Love and has harnessed her love of musical theater with her training in, piano and vocal studies to compose many of the pieces for Light Of Love.

Scotty Ray

PLAYWRIGHT / PRODUCER

Scotty has his MFA in Acting from the American Repertory Theater Institute at Harvard University, and also trained in improv at The Groundlings Theater in Hollywood. Some of Scotty’s favorite stage credits include the American Repertory Theater: As You Like It (Old Adam, Silvius); The Snow Queen (Kai). A.R.T. Institute: Nutcracker Turbo (Nathaniel); Becket Shorts (Ru); Bob: A Life In Five Acts (Chorus 4). Other theater: The Crucible (John Proctor); The Accidental Death of an Anarchist (The Maniac); The Taming of the Shrew (Petruchio); The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged; The Complete Works of Hollywood Abridged. Film/TV credits: Come Before Winter (Ian Flemming); Hotel Secrets and Legends (Sport Sullivan). As a writer Scotty wrote and co-directed the web series EverReady, wrote and starred in the feature film Melody, and wrote for the German tv series Encounters, currently on Pure Flix. He also teaches acting, voice and improv classes and is part of the Fresh Picked Improv team that does family friendly shows in the Inland Empire about once a month.

Adriana Perera

COMPOSER / PRODUCER

Adriana Perera is the worship pastor for the Loma Linda University Church. She served formerly as the Chair of the Department of Music at Andrews University and was the co-director of AU International Center for Worship and Music. She taught music theory and composition at Oakwood University for eleven years, and before that, she served as the Chair of the J. S. Bach Conservatory in Sagunto, Spain. She also taught music and worship at the Adventist Theological Seminary of Sagunto, Spain. Adriana was born in Uruguay, where she started piano lessons at the age of six. She continued her musical studies in piano, music theory, orchestral conducting, and composition in Argentina, Spain, and the United States. More than 200 sacred pieces written by her are currently performed by choirs, orchestras, and soloists around the world. As a composer and recording artist, she has co-produced six album CDs with her sacred musical works. She has published several articles and two books on the topic of music and worship: “En espiritu y en verdad” (Pacific Press Publishing Association, 2013); and “More than Music: Worship” (Biblio Publishing, 2017). She is passionate about the production of music materials that make an impact on society, taking the message of Jesus to everyone.

Otinelis Iancu

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Otinelis lancu is pleased to be joining the team as the Technical Director. Most recently, she has designed the lighting, video projections, and assisted with the set construction for Marjorie Prime, Wally's Café, and Native Gardens. Other credits include: technical director for Doubt, God's Favorite, Freud's Last Session, and The Pillowman; lighting design for Lost in Yonkers, and Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks; Hamlet (Hamlet), These Shining Lives (Catherine Donohue), Our Town (Emily Webb), Sense and Sensibility (Edward and Robert Ferrars), and Bee-Luther-Hatchee (Anna); and stage manager for Present Laughter, 1984, and Love, Loss, and What I Wore.
